The make-up:
We make the Glozone™ high frequency welded slap wraps, using retro-reflective sheeting made from the world renowned 3M Scotchlite ™ High Gloss. They are made in the day-glo colour Fluorescent Lime, which works great 24/7 and all year round.
We use the retro-reflective sheeting on the front, (the face) of the slap-wrap, with white vinyl between the this and the specially developed, stainless steel spring that makes it "slap" and "wrap". This is in order to obtain maximum reflectivity. On the back of the slap-wrap, (against your clothing) grey, velour-like material. A bit like suede to the touch, it is comfortable worn next to the skin and ideal for writing the owner's name and details on.)
The dimensions of our Glozone™ Slap-Wraps are 31 X 320mm. (A bit over an inch wide, and a bit over a foot long.)
No Compromise:
Glozone™ reflective "Slap-wraps" have rounded edges (12mm radius) to prevent possible accidents associated with sharp corners.
The stainless steel spring inside of our slap-wrap was developed specially for us, and having secured the sole rights for it, it ensures that the Glozone™ slap-wrap will "slap" and "wrap" time and time again without loosing its strength!
We are still (last time we looked), the only Company in the whole of Europe to supply certificated, reflective slap-wraps brandishing the CE EN 13356-marking, clearly showing compliance with the European Safety Standard for reflective products for personal, non-professional use.

In November 2001: First in Europe to obtain the CE EN 13356 certification for the manufacture of our "show-stopper!"- the rather special, reflective Glozone™ slap-wrap. The certification covers retro-reflective sheeting from both 3M and Avery Dennison; namely Scotchlite™ High Gloss, and Omni-Brite™ respectively. So not only do our slap-wraps meet with the requirements of "The Standard", they are certificated accordingly!
And by marking each slap wrap with the CE EN 13356 symbol on the product itself, the wearer is reassured of the quality of the Glozone™ product - at a glance!
The
spring-coiled "Slap-Wrap" is straightened by stretching flat
and then pinching with your thumbs at the extremities. Now "slap"
it around your wrist or ankle to wear.
Note! Once straight, do not attempt to bend further (the wrong way)
as this may damage the product.

How are they worn & where are they used?
Glozone™ slap-wraps are typically worn round wrists and ankles by people of all ages, for sport, for lifestyle, for fashion or fun, and of course, for personal safety. In fact, for any outdoor activity where it would clearly be an advantage for the wearer to be seen!
Slap wrap "jogger" arm/wrist and leg/ankle bands are easy to use and popular alternatives to jitter bugs or dangle tags if you don't want to use a safety pin on your clothes. The Glozone™ slap-wrap is perfect as a bicycle clip with high performance reflectivity!
Wear & care:
The Glozone™ reflective slap-wraps are highly visible. The lower on your person they are worn, the better, as the light beams of a motor vehicle shine from the ground up.
For care, wipe evenly with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash. A damaged slap-wrap should be discarded and replaced.
The performance of the Glozone™ reflective slap-wrap is not impaired by rain or when wet!
