| "There
are two kinds of reflective wear on the market today - Safety
Standard compliant reflective wear and secondly, reflective
wear that looks like it, but isn't. The compliant kind can
save lives. The non-compliant kind can take lives. In a
nutshell, that is the difference!"
In
comparison, the non-compliant version costs a fraction to
manufacture, so clearly there is a formidable mark-up while
buyers perceive great savings and value for their spend
at the same time.
The
trouble is non-compliant goods are, more often than not,
portrayed as the real thing, where at best all they can
achieve is a false sense of security! Did you know that
non-compliant goods have been known to have reflectivity
of just over 10 metres - Yes, 30 foot!!! This means around
ONE SECOND after the wearer is seen by the driver's headlights,
he is already making his way across the bonnet or grill
of the driver's vehicle! And that is at only 20 - 30 MPH!
Knowing
the difference, would you associate your Company name with
the wrong kind?
We
wish to eradicate these life-threatening products from the
market altogether. Reflective promotional gifts are for
businesses, organizations and people who share a genuine
concern for the personal road safety of the British public.
Having said that, they do make a memorable promotion gift!
In
august of this year (2007) Denmark was the first EU member
state to criminalize the sale of non-compliant reflective
wear. More of this please. We applaud this stand and it
certainly made 2007 a special year for road safety. You
just watch, others will follow!
So,
we join in the fight against ignorance and deliberate abuse
of the road safety plight. And we do this not with anger
or annoying self-righteousness, but through education and
awareness, and with quality products and good service.
We
bring you authentic Glozone™ reflective promotional
merchandise. Made using European Safety Standard CE EN 13356,
CE EN 1150 and CE EN 471 compliant reflective materials
respectively, for the different products.
Would you stuff your sleeping bag into a backpack marked
"Parachute"?
No,
nor would we.
Together
we really can make a difference! |
